Caring for your spray tan

Spray tans last about a week to 10 days, give or take depending on how you care for your skin...
Post spray instructions:
Do not get wet until you shower. If raining, use an umbrella. No crying. Avoid washing hands, cooking, cleaning, etc.
Refrain from showering as long as possible, ideally for 24 hours. As with all DHA products, sunless color begins showing development approximately 4 hours post application and continues to darken for up to 24 hours.
If you must shower before the 24 hours has lapsed, do so using a warm water rinse only. The use of soap can inhibit full development of DHA. I avoid soap all over my body while I am sprayed, unless I am actually dirty from working in the yard as an example.
Apply moisturizer following the shower and at least once daily. Try to avoid using face oils while tanned, it can make the tan come off quicker.
Do not exfoliate until at least 7 days when the tan starts to come off.
Apply lotion every day! Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize...I cannot say this enough!
If you don’t have to...avoid using soap all over your body everyday...this will help your tan last longer!
